Happy Valloween! Hey friends, I am so excited to be celebrating Valloween this year. If you haven’t heard of it and are wondering what Valloween is, it is basically a mash-up of Valentine’s Day meets Halloween. It is no secret to anyone that knows me that Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday. So naturally, when I heard about Valloween I jumped in with both feet. Traditionally Valloween is celebrated on February 14th, but in our household we decided to celebrate it on February 13th because (A.) the 13th seemed fitting for a spooky holiday and (B.) we still wanted to celebrate our traditional Valentine’s Day as well.
To celebrate this year we decided to make some spooky treats that had a fun Valentine’s twist to them. Pictured below you can check out the funfetti spider cupcakes, heart-shaped sugar cookies and red and white chocolate brains. For decor, I just sprinkled some fun Halloween elements into my existing Valentine’s Day decor. I am a huge fan of the Universal Monsters so I decided to incorporate them into the look. I even found some vintage Universal Monsters Valentine cards on Pinterest and printed them out on card-stock and laid them out as table scatter. While on Pinterest, I also discovered some spooky Valentine’s that I printed out for free from this website https://thathalloweenbro.com/2021/02/01/valoween-day-cards/.

While looking for inspiration online for Valloween, I kept running across Jack O’Lantern hearts but I could not find any to print out. So I decided to make my own. I also included those as a free printable below in case you wanted to add some spooky fun to your Valentine’s Day.
Even though this is our first year celebrating Valloween I am already so in love with it. It incorporates some of my favorite things in life, all things love and all things spooky. Happy Valloween from our family to yours!
