Healthy Fourth of July Desserts

I can’t believe tomorrow is the Fourth of July already!! This year we will be keeping things very simple. We plan on just spending time in the backyard and grilling up some vegan hot dogs and hamburgers. I do want to whip up a dessert or two though. So I scoured the internet for some yummy but still healthy desserts. These are sure to get your mouth watering! I also created a summer dessert board on my Pinterest so if these aren’t your thing make sure to head over there and I’m sure you’ll be able to find something. I hope everyone has a safe and fun Fourth of July!  Watermelon Pizza Via Choosing Chia Ingredients 1 watermelon 1 cup coconut yogurt (or greek yogurt for non-vegan) 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced in half 1/2 cup raspberries 1/2 cup cherries 1/2 cup…

5 Ingredient BBQ Chickpea Pizza Recipe

Hey guys!! Long time no post. I really got out of the swing of things so for my first post in over 7 months I thought I would go with something super simple and fun to make. These BBQ Chickpea Pizzas are seriously yummy, easy to make, and best of all quick! You can have dinner on the table in 15 minutes with these. They are vegetarian but very easily made vegan with a couple of swaps. The secret to these being ready so quickly is using a pre-made crust. For mine I used mini naan bread. But pita bread would also work great, just cut the cooking time down by a few minutes. And without further ado… 5 Ingredient BBQ Chickpea Pizza Recipe Ingredients Mini Naan Bread (or pita Bread) Shredded cheese  Pizza sauce Bbq sauce 1 can of chickpeas drained and rinsed Directions Preheat oven to…

What I’m Wearing for Thanksgiving

I found the perfect tweed skirt for Thanksgiving this year! It’s from Amazon and under $20!! I’ll be wearing it for Thanksgiving but it would honestly be perfect for any special occasion you have this holiday season. I paired it with this black top that is also from Amazon and it is safe to say I am obsessed! This top is so cute, I absolutely adore the little pouf at the top of the sleeves. I just got it and I’ve already been wearing it on repeat. I also accessorized this look with a padded headband. These are a bit of a trend at the moment and I feel like you either love them or hate them. I love them and my husband hates them lol! There are a bunch of premium options available on the market at the moment but since they are so trendy I…

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea Day 7 – Favorite Fall Skirt

Happy Monday!! So we have officially come to the end of the week-long Thanksgiving outfit idea posts. For the last day I wanted to share one of my all time favorite skirts. This Zara skirt is perfection. I just adore the design of it. The pleated details make it easy to dress up but it can still be worn casually like I did here. I paired it with a cozy pink sweater and my favorite over the knee boots. I actually picked this skirt up from Zara last year but when I saw that they brought it back this year, I knew I had to share it with you all. Trust me you will not regret picking it up.  I actually love wearing skirts all fall and winter long, even though it does get super cold here in New Jersey. They are so much fun to pair with oversized…

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea Day 6 – Cozy Knits

Hey guys!! Sorry for the delay, I haven’t been active on here the past few days. I’ve been having a bunch of problems with my blog lately and its been so frustrating. There was a WordPress update and it basically made it impossible to upload photos properly to this blog. I’ve tried reaching out to Bluehost and WordPress with zero success and I’m not quite sure where to go from here 🙁 I know you’re not here to hear about my problems though lol. This is actually an outfit I wore when we took our trip to Vermont but I thought it would be perfect for a Thanksgiving outfit! This sweater is so cozy and I love the chunky knit of it. And this skirt has been featured several times on my blog. I just adore it, I own it in several colors. Both of these…

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea Day 5 : Fall Neutrals

This cardigan is the coziest and most perfect thing to wrap up in when the temperatures really start to dip. It has a generous oversized fit that makes it super comfortable. I dressed it up a bit with an all white outfit and tan boots but it would be the perfect cardigan to wear with leggings and a t-shirt. It honestly feels like you are wearing a blanket in the best possible way.  These white jeans are also amazing, they are very flattering. I didn’t wear white jeans for years because I thought they looked terrible on me until I tried on this pair! They are from Target and under $30.  This outfit is great if you want to be comfortable but still look put together. The neutral tones work really well for fall too. I felt like I was blending right in with the harvest…

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea Day 4 : All Black With a Leopard Pop!

Hi everyone, I hope you had a great day!! Im actually a bit under the weather at the moment so todays post is going to be short and sweet. This outfit is honestly so simple and so easy to recreate. It all centers around these adorable boots. I thought it would be fun to have a super simple all black outfit and add an unexpected pop with the shoes. These leopard booties are so fun and instantly make you look super on trend.  This cape is also amazing! I own it in 2 colors now and can not recommend it enough! It is such high quality and is without a doubt one of my favorite purchases. It is actually on sale at the moment and it is close to selling out so check it out fast! I just wore my favorite leggings with it but a pair of leather…

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea : Day 3

Okay so Im back with day three and this is my edgy outfit, haha! But seriously this is about as edgy as I get. I actually wore this look out last week for a date night but thought this would be a great option for Thanksgiving or any other occasion you have coming up. The leather jacket ups the cool factor but this sweater dress by itself is still great. It is such a pretty mocha color, I seriously don’t have anything else in my wardrobe this shade and Im obsessed.   I kept the accessories simple and stuck with black for the jacket, heels, and purse. This sweater dress would be so pretty with a pair of knee high boots though and a cute scarf. This dress is super versatile and super affordable, you cant go wrong.
