Favorite Fall Scents

Ok, so who is ready for the Fall?? (Raises up both hands). But seriously September is here and even though we still have a few weeks before the official first day of Fall the spirit is still in the air. I always feel like when September rolls around and summer vacations are over it can be a little bitter sweet. It is hard to say goodbye to the carefree days of summer but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t over the moon excited for the Fall to be upon us. To me the Fall is pure magic! Crisp air, crunchy leaves, and cozy campfires are what Fall is made of. The nights get a bit darker and the temperatures a bit cooler. You crave those cozy feelings that make you want to cuddle up in a big blanket and watch scary movies all night. And with Halloween on its way everything just seems a bit more spooky and mysterious. For all these reasons and more I clearly LOVE this season and welcome its early arrival. The way I like to get into the mood for this upcoming season is to fill my home with those warm familiar scents of this magical time of year. I have compiled some of my favorite Fall scents here. Some are new finds that give me all the feels and others are scents that I have cherished for years. I’ve kept it simple and stuck with two stores that offer a high quality product with an affordable price. I hope you will love these scents just as much as I do.

Pumpkin Peanut Brittle (here) – This was a new find this year but I quickly fell in love! This candle has fragrance notes of crunchy caramel brittle, salty peanuts, and toasted pumpkin seeds. It is the perfect mix of pumpkin meets a carnival, if that makes any sense lol. It just has those sweet notes of toffee mixed with warm spicy pumpkin.

Marshmallow Fireside (here) Can we just take a minute to appreciate this scent! This is a scent I have been loving for a few years now but I still can’t get enough of. Remember when I mentioned those warm campfires of the Fall, well this is it in candle form. I feel like I am fan girling over a candle but seriously you have to give this one a try. This candle has had multiple names over the years but the scent has remained the same. The fragrance notes are toasted marshmallow, smoldering woods, fire roasted vanilla, and crystallized amber. It truly captures the sweet smells of marshmallows roasting on a warm burning flame.

PB & J (here) This is another new scent this year but I have really been liking it. At first I was not going to even give it a try because what does a PB & J have to do with the Fall?? But once I smelled it I was hooked. The fragrance notes are fresh strawberry jam, toasted bread, crunchy peanut butter, and honey. The toasted bread scents give this fragrance a really warm feeling and the mix of the sweet strawberry jam and crunchy peanut butter just work together to give it a comforting feel. I bought this candle with my husband in mind because he loves PB&J’s and he gives this candle his seal of approval.

Cozy Flannel (here) This candle’s fragrance notes are listed as citrus, lavender, and violet but this candle is so much more than that. It is a lighter fragrance than the ones I’ve already mentioned but it is still divine. I honestly don’t know how to describe this candle other than Cozy Flannel haha! The name honestly captures this scent perfectly. When I smell it, it gives me the feels of being wrapped up in a cozy blanket with my guy. It almost has a warm cologne smell that I am addicted to.

Autumn Harvest  (here)Another light fragrance, this scent focuses on cinnamon and sweet peach notes to give it the feel of crisp leaves. A good go to if you are looking for a scent that captures the warm spicy feeling of Autumn.

Harvest Chai (here) This candle has notes of chai, coconut, and jasmine. It has a truly nutty scent to it that remind me of warm apple cider!

Heritage Pumpkin (here)I have saved the best for last. Heritage pumpkin has been my absolute favorite for years now! Even though this is a more affordable scent it just captures the essence of the season perfectly! I don’t know what it is about this candle but the moment I smell it I am transported into an autumnal wonderland. For the past several years when I am ready to decorate my house for Fall or Halloween the first thing I do is light this candle. It immediately sets the mood and cloaks the entire house in a warm pumpkin scent that is just perfection. The second I smell it I know it is time for Fall!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and check out some of these Fall scents. They bring me so much warmth and I know they will do the same for you. I have a lot of awesome Fall inspired posts coming up so come back soon!

* P.S. The faux pumpkin and gourds seen in the photos are from Target. The small ones were only $1 and the larger ones were $3. For that price they are a steal. They look realistic and you can do so many things with them. I love to use them for my outdoor display since they wont rot and the squirrels will not eat them!
