Easiest Vitamix Corn Chowder Recipe (6 Ingredients)

Hey all! I’m back with another recipe 🙂 This is seriously one of the quickest and easiest things you will ever make! There is one caveat and that is that you need a Vitamix blender. You can absolutely try this recipe with an immersion blender or a regular blender but I’m not too sure how the texture will turn out. A Vitamix is a big investment but I honestly can’t recommend it enough. I have so many incredible Vitamix soup recipes I would love to share with you all. Because the Vitamix is so powerful you are able to get an incredibly smooth texture without the use of potatoes. I love this recipe because it is super quick, doesn’t require a lot of ingredients, and it is pretty low in calories since it is mostly just corn. You can get this chowder on the table in less…

My Favorite at home Workout Equipment

exercise ball with base // Fitbit smart watch // Pilates toning bar // Apple Airpods // yoga mats // kettle bell //Exercise Bands and 2 Exercise Sliders // HydroFlask water bottle So there is no denying that the quarantine 15 have come knocking at my door. Okay maybe not “15”, but it is safe to say I’ve put on a good 5-8 pounds during these past few months. By no means is this the end of the world, but it has made me feel more sluggish and unproductive. Not only have I been guilty of snacking a bit more than usual but sitting on my bum everyday certainly has not been helping my cause. With my gym still being closed due to the virus working out has not been the easiest. I feel so unmotivated to workout at home, and I know I am not alone here! With so many other things to do…

How To Keep Your Backyard Mosquito Free

Good morning everyone! Yesterday while trying to have a relaxing day in the backyard a pesky problem kept roaring its ugly head, mosquitoes! I love the summer but I really do hate the mosquitoes that the summer brings. I am actually a bit of a bug lover with one big exception. These mini vampires really get under my skin, literally 😉 Not only are they annoying but the fact that they carry so many different diseases is truly terrifying. So I finally had enough and went to Google to try and find some solutions. After much searching I’m confident that I’ve found some real gems. Armed with some of these I really think my backyard will finally be the mosquito free oasis I’ve been hoping for. 1.Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repeller 2.Radius Zone Mosquito Repeller 3.Thermacell Mosquito Repellent Lantern 4.DynaTrap Insect Trap…

2020 Summer Beach Reads

How is everyone’s summer going so far? I have to say this is one of the weirdest summers I can remember. With the quarantines and limited gatherings it just doesn’t really feel like summer to me. But even with everything up in the air and all of our summer trips and plans canceled there is one summer tradition I am adamant about keeping and that is my summer reading list. Reading is absolutely one of my favorite pastimes. To be transported to a new place with new people, events, and scenes all by the words of an author is truly a gift. So grab a fruity cocktail, put on your bathing suit and get ready to be carried away by a good book (even if the only beach you’ll be seeing this summer is the one in your imagination 😉 ) 1. Best Girly Kitchen Finds On Amazon

So I was browsing Amazon yesterday, we needed some new kitchen utensils, and I came across the most lovely and girly kitchen accessories I’ve ever seen! I seriously fell head over heels. I will definitely be snagging that cake plate though, the natural wood goes with any kitchen. I might have to pick up some new measuring bowls as well since they are just too cute to pass up. So for anyone out there looking to add just a bit more glam to your kitchen this one is for you 😉 1. Peach Scallop Melamine Serving Set 2. Batter Bowl Shaped Measuring Cups 3.  Hand Soap Double Dispenser 4.  Kitchen Gadget Set 5…

5 Ingredient BBQ Chickpea Pizza Recipe

Hey guys!! Long time no post. I really got out of the swing of things so for my first post in over 7 months I thought I would go with something super simple and fun to make. These BBQ Chickpea Pizzas are seriously yummy, easy to make, and best of all quick! You can have dinner on the table in 15 minutes with these. They are vegetarian but very easily made vegan with a couple of swaps. The secret to these being ready so quickly is using a pre-made crust. For mine I used mini naan bread. But pita bread would also work great, just cut the cooking time down by a few minutes. And without further ado… 5 Ingredient BBQ Chickpea Pizza Recipe Ingredients Mini Naan Bread (or pita Bread) Shredded cheese  Pizza sauce Bbq sauce 1 can of chickpeas drained and rinsed Directions Preheat oven to…

DIY: Super Easy Fall Fabric Pumpkins

If you’ve been to any store with home decor this season it is almost certain that you have seen delightful fabric pumpkins. They come in all shapes, sizes, and fabric choices. I absolutely love them! They are an adorable addition to my fall decorations. The only downside is that these pumpkins can sometimes come with a high price tag. After buying a few and looking them over I knew I could recreate them for much less and an added bonus about DIY is that you can choose whichever fabric color or pattern that will match your decor.  For this craft you will need: 1. Any fabric of your choice, I went with a light pink and grey plaid print. 2. Scissors 3. Felt (for the stem) 4. Thick sturdy thread (I used regular sewing thread and had to double it up) 5. Needles (I used a regular sewing…

20 Free or Inexpensive Fall Date Night Ideas

Who doesn’t love the fall?? Every season has its own things that make it special but the fall just has so many things going for it. I truly think it is the most romantic time of year with some of the best date night options so I wanted to come up with a list of free or inexpensive things you and your loved one can do together.  1. Watch a scary movie at home while cuddled up together.  It’s a classic for a reason. Grab the popcorn and a cozy blanket and hold each other close when the movie really starts to get creepy.  2. Go for an evening jog together.  Enjoy the fresh air and changing leaves.  3. Go apple picking together and make a fresh apple pie. There is something so satisfying about making a pie with the apples you hand…
