It is definitely a tradition in my house to watch this movie every year and no matter how many times we have seen it, we still laugh just as hard as the first time. I came up with several super quick and easy crafts to pay homage to this wonderful movie. A huge plus is that three of these crafts are able to be done with free printable’s I already made for you that you can find down below. These crafts are super simple and very inexpensive. The leg lamp in particular is a fan favorite at my house šŸ™‚ I hope that these crafts bring a smile to your face this holiday season. To see how I made everything check…

Pottery Barn Christmas Decor Dupes – Dollar Tree DIY’s

Hey guys, I am back with some more Dollar Tree DIY’s but this round is all Pottery Barn dupes. I was able to recreate some of their most beautiful artwork for literally a few dollars. Rae Dunn Inspired Christmas Farmhouse Beads DIY with FREE Rae Dunn Printable’s! (… no Cricut needed)

Christmas season is here!! I am in full Christmas decorating mode around the house. I have been keeping super busy this year with lots of Christmas DIY’s and this is definitely one of my favorites so far. While decorating my tier tray on my coffee bar that it looked a little bare and I knew just the thing to spruce it up. Candy cane colored Farmhouse beads!!! I thought the perfect addition would be a little Rae Dunn inspired tag to go with it. However if Rae Dunn is not your thing, you can easily make these beads with two tassels instead of one. But if you love Rae Dunn as much as I do then I think you will be super excited to see that I featured a free printable for you down below. I do not have a Cricut so I have to get a bit…

Dollar Tree DIY’s Hey guys! I am back with another set of Dollar Tree DIY’s. These Christmas decorations are super chic and only cost a couple of dollars each to make. Everything I created here you can find supplies for at the Dollar Tree. The thing I am most excited about is that I am able to offer you some free printable’s for some of these crafts! My favorite ones from this set are probably the Holiday Baking Co. sign and the JOY Wreath sign. Both of which I have free printables for. The Holiday Baking Co. sign looks super high end and only cost me $1 (for the Tag sign at dollar tree). The only other thing I needed was white paint (which I always have on hand), ribbon, and the free printable linked below. If you don’t have these on…

Easy Cinnamon Salt Dough Recipe for Christmas Ornaments

Cinnamon Salt Dough Recipe (yields 6 ornaments, multiply as needed) 1/2 cup of flour  4 TB of salt  4 TB of water    2 TSP of cinnamon  Directions: -Mix all ingredients in a bowl -Roll out to 1/4ā€ thicknessĀ  -Use your choice of cookie cuttersĀ  -Before baking, use a toothpick to make a hole for ornament string -Place on baking sheet with parchment paper then bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours. To decorate them with faux icing, I used caulk. I also made some faux candy with polymer clay for their buttons and candy canes. If you are stringing these as ornaments I found using bakers twine works really well. I found these cookies came out beautifully. Some of mine puffed up a little bit but I feel like they look like the real thing. I put out some of mine on display…

Itā€™s safe, comforting, and gives us the opportunity to forget lifeā€™s stresses for a bit. So Iā€™ve compiled a list of the best Halloween shows and movies to finish out October with. Hubie Halloween Not a classic (yet…

Life of Style Is On Youtube!

Hey guys! I have some exciting news to share. I finally made the jump and expanded Life of Style to Youtube!! It is something I had been thinking about for some time. Even though the majority of stuff I share on this blog is fashion related that is only one part of my many loves. For years I have been an avid crafter and DIYer. Last Fall I shared a pumpkin craft HERE on the blog and even though I was able to share step by step instructions with pictures it is just not the same as being able to really show you how like in a video.Ā  Thatā€™s why it just made sense to expand to Youtube. As of this post, I have several craft videos for Fall and Halloween already uploaded! I am so excited to be able to share more in the future like recipes, decorating…
